My one-day climb to Mount Mateo was an incredible experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to how Alex handled the logistics and the pace. He was right on time for the hotel pickup, which made the early start feel smooth and professional from the very beginning. Once we were on the mountain, I really appreciated how he never once made me feel rushed; he walked exactly at my pace, making sure I was comfortable with my rhythm and breathing the whole way up. Because he wasn’t hurrying me, I was able to actually enjoy the ascent and reach the summit feeling strong. His eye for detail and constant focus on my safety made the entire climb feel easy and controlled. Alex’s patience and his thorough approach to guiding are exactly why I trust him on these peaks—he truly makes the climber’s comfort his main objective.
