TREKKING PREPARATION

At AndesXped, every great trek begins with proper preparation. Our experiences are designed to offer a safe, immersive, and world-class adventure through the most spectacular landscapes of the Andes.

01 / Physical Fitness

Participants should have a fitness level suitable for multi-day hikes and varied mountain terrain. This ensures you can enjoy long trekking days, elevation changes, and a comfortable adaptation to altitude.

Our team will help you choose the trek that best matches your fitness level.

02 / Training & Experience

Previous experience is recommended, but not required. Experienced hikers can join directly. For beginners, we offer pre-trek preparation and guidance.

Note: No technical climbing skills are required for trekking programs.

03 / Acclimatization

Acclimatization is essential. Our itineraries are carefully designed with gradual elevation gains, acclimatization hikes, and strategic rest days to help your body adapt safely.
